The RTEMS Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) created to support the RTEMS Project. The foundatino is a non-profit organization focused on engineering software education and solutions. The RTEMS Foundation has been set up to secure long term stewardship building open communities that lead and maintain the RTEMS Real Time Operating System. The RTEMS Foundation is supported by donations from end users and sponsors who provide funds in order for the foundation to accomplish its goals. Our finances are transparent and open. Outside of our support for the RTEMS Project we endeavour to support open developemt and open source in general with a focus on space and science related projects.
